The Meters - Find Yourself (DJ Yamin Remix)

The Meters - Find Yourself (DJ Yamin Remix)

"Find Yourself" was released in 1976 on The Meters 7th album called "Trick Bag". It's produced by non other than Allen Toussaint and features a slicker yet still funky sound. I wanted to keep it simple on this remix and pay homage to The Meters and Naughty By Nature who sample portions of the original song.

Personnel:

Art Neville - keyboards, vocals
Ziggy Modeliste - drums
Cyril Neville - percussion, vocals
Leo Nocentelli - guitar, vocals
George Porter, Jr. - bass guitar
Kenneth "Afro" Williams - percussion
Tony Owens, Terry Smith - background vocals

Ernie K-Doe - Here Come The Girls! (DJ Yamin Remix)

The self proclaimed "Emperor of the Universe", Ernie K-Doe released "Here Come The Girls!" in 1970 on Janus Records. It was written and produced by Allen Toussaint.
