Joe C - Rubber Band "Like the Groove on Original mix 4/5" - DJ Icey
"Good release, prefer Andy's solid remix" - Drumattic Twins
"dope!" -Keith MacKenzie
"Really diggin on Andy's remix! goodness!" - Black & Blunt
"Great stuff... The lead line in the original is causing havoc on the dancefloor" - Leuce Rhythms "Huge in his style....." - Wicked Style Blog
"nice classic breaks vibe" - Dancefloor Mayhem Blog

Earlier this year we welcomed Joe C to the Ground Level family, with his debut single Skunky alongside a remix from Rebel Sketchy. The package was well received, receiving favourable reviews in both DJ and Mixmag, and both track climbing the Beatport Breaks chart. Joe's back for his second release, Rubber Band and this time it\'s backed up with a remix from label-boss Andy McAllister. The original is a disco-funk breaks monster where Joe uses a rasping lead line to belt out the funkiest of licks, backed up by lashings of funky percussion and fat beats. On the virtual flip Andy introduces an almost euphoric chord sequence in the break, juxtaposed by a wall of bass when the beats kick back in and snippets of Joe's funky lead line and chopped up vocals.
